There is often heavy traffic in and around your production halls, warehouses and office buildings. Trucks, fork-lift trucks and cars are constantly on and off. In between, pedestrians and cyclists move. The chance that an accident can happen is real. Do not wait until there are wounded persons to intervene.
Recently I had a very interesting assignment for a company in the port of Antwerp. They are engaged in the loading and unloading of RORO vessels (roll-on / roll-off). Thousands of vehicles are driven on and off ships in a few hours. The need for an internal traffic plan was therefore very improtant.
The cars are in different warehouses and on numerous car parks. In addition, the ships can be moored in different places. A jumble of traffic arose on the quay.
Thanks to a clear traffic plan, there is now structure and dangerous situations are avoided. The risk of an accident has been drastically reduced. The plan has therefore immediately proved its worth.
Do you need an internal traffic plan?
